French Dip Sandwiches
1 (3-4 pound) lean beef roast
½ cup soy sauce
1 beef boullion cube
1 bay leaf
3-4 peppercorns
1 teaspoon dried crushed rosemary
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Hard or soft French rolls
Trim and discard all visible fat from roast, place in slow cooker. Combine soy sauce, boullion, and spices, pour over roast. Add water to almost cover the roast. Cover and cook over low and heat 10 to 12 hours or until meat is very tender. Remove meat from broth; reserve broth. Shred meat with fork and serve on rolls with broth.
